Part of the design emphasis in the new Yankee stadium is the openness. A custom version of GKD Tigris stainless steel metal fabric was employed at balcony and platform levels of the Great Hall, the transition and activity location between entrances and the field. The transparency allows visual access to the field, while safety and security are upheld.
