Depending on the requirements, wire meshes are produced in various weave types. These range from the familiar square mesh in plain weave through to complex multi-ply mesh designs. As the world’s leading manufacturer of wire meshes, we are able to produce sophisticated mesh for highly-specialized processes and applications.
In architectural applications, a distinction is usually made between three wire mesh types:
Cable mesh: metal mesh with a warp made from a wire cable – for the production of large-surface structures (e.g. façade cladding) up to 8 m wide.
PC mesh or rigid mesh: the use of monofilament wire instead of a wire cable creates panel-like wire grates that are particularly well suited for applications such as suspended ceilings or balustrades.
Spiral mesh: consisting of metal tape spirals that are connected with rods, this wire mesh has considerable advantages in three-dimensional shaping.
